The Face Behind the Camera

That's me! I'm the goof in the picture holding the camera. My name is Breezy Bird and an award-winning wildlife and portrait photographer based in Idaho Falls, Idaho. I have been taking pictures for as long as I can remember. As a child, I remember being mesmerized by those old vintage flash cubes and polaroid cameras! Yup, I’m that old! My love for photography really took off in junior high with a rather unexpected assignment—snapping pics of heavy road equipment for the Wyoming Department of Transportation. Not the most glamorous gig, but hey, it was enough to light a spark that never went out!

Fast forward to today—I’m an x-ray technologist by trade, a college professor by choice, and a photographer by pure passion. When I’m not peering into people’s bones or lecturing on anatomy, I’m capturing life’s fleeting moments through my camera lens. Whether it’s a candid family moment, a majestic wildlife shot, or braving the mosh pit at a heavy metal show, I’m all about preserving memories with a touch of creativity.
